Deposits

 

A non refundable deposit is required for cake orders (25% for wedding cakes and 15% for celebration cakes) the remainder is due at least two weeks prior to your event.

 

Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require payment in full by cash or bank transfer at the time of ordering.

To secure a booking please send the required deposit made payable to Tantie Lorraine’s Kitchen.  Payment may be made by:  Cash, Personal cheques or Transfer into bank account (details provided on request).

 

Alteration to Orders

 

Any alterations to the original order must be confirmed in writing and may be subject to an additional charge.  Late amendments to orders are often possible and every effort will be made to accommodate changes, but this cannot be guaranteed.

 

Cancellation of Orders

 

In the event of cancellation, work already completed is chargeable. Orders cancelled within 5 business days of the event date will not be refunded.

 

Stand and Knife Hire

 

Cake stand & knife hire is from £25.00 with a £100.00 refundable deposit required. These items are hired over a two day period; or in cases of weekend events hired on Friday for return on the following Monday.  Late returns will incur an additional fee.  The deposit is forfeit if the item is lost or damaged.
